Join Our Search for Azure Design's
Most Injured Client
As many of you know, sympathy isn't one of our strongest points here at Azure Design.
So when Martin Speight from Sckill 4 Sport (check out their brand spanking new website and online shop at www.sckill4sport.co.uk) walked into our office with a multicoloured face that seemed to have changed shape since last time we saw him, we had a fantastic idea for a website feature.
Are you a client of Azure Design? Are you more injured than Martin? If the answer to these questions is yes, then send us a photo and we’ll give you a free plug on the site whilst at the same time satisfying our own perverse curiosity as we search for Azure’s most injured client.
Martin’s injury came about as a result of a cricket ball that thumped him in the napper via the top edge of his bat in a recent club cricket match for Anfield Plain Cricket Club in County Durham.
According to his biography on the Sckill 4 Sport website, Martin hilariously describes himself as an “eye” cricketer – pfff! – and claims that the injury had settled down a lot in the ten days between him head-butting a cricket ball and us taking this photograph. If you believe him, the lump was the size of Easington Village and the impact was felt in sub-Saharan Africa.
Sckill 4 Sport is a sports coaching company established in 2001 by Neil Killeen, a current professional cricketer with Durham CCC, and Martin Speight, a professional cricketer for 15 years with Sussex CCC and Durham CCC and now a professional cricket coach and successful artist. Or at least that’s what it says on their groovy new site!
